The Quiver

The premiere issue of Arrowhead's Newsletter is ready to go. I've sent the files to headquarters and Dennis Siemens at the NCEM print shop will be taking care of the printing side of things. We will hopefully be doing our first mailing early in October.

It seemed only too suitable for Arrowhead Native Bible Center, that we call our newsletter The Quiver. A quiver is a case for carrying arrows, the concept is certainly Biblical, especially as it pertains to our summer camp ministries with First Nations children.

" ...children are an heritage of the LORD ... As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them... " Psalm 127

This newsletter is our opportunity to share with you pictures, stories, needs and praises. We love these kids and want to share that with you.

This first issue of The Quiver contains many beautiful pictures from this past summer camps. Many of our staff were busy snapping photos, and eagerly shared with us their pictures. Several of the staff have contributed to the newsletter with stories and notes on some wonderful things that they saw the Lord do this summer, both in their lives and in the lives of the children!

We will be producing a newsletter for Arrowhead four times a year. Not each copy will be as big and colourful as this first issue, but we will certainly be sharing the ministry of the Center on a regular basis with those of you who are interested in being involved with what is happening.

If you would like to receive this newsletter in the mail, we'd be happy to add you to the mailing list. Just drop me a line with your mailing address and I'll see that you receive a copy.

Coming soon to a mailbox near you.
